My name is Kristina, and I'm a twenty-something graduate student studying elementary education. I grew up on the East Coast, but I've spent half my life in the Midwest. Currently I live in Midland, Michigan.
Lily-Fashion chronicles my daily quest to live beautifully--"Let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us" (Psalm 90:17). This blog is an online notebook recording His beauty in my life, expressed mostly through my love for nature, photography, fashion, classroom ideas and teaching resources, artsy-craftsy and sewing experiments, favorite books, as well as my current musings.
The name Lily-Fashion comes from Luke 12:27-30. "Consider the lilies of the field, and how they grow," Jesus tells His followers... "See how lovely they are?... You are even more special to Me than they. You are infinitely precious in My sight... Don't worry about the details of your life; seek Me rather than material goods. I will take care of you" (paraphrased). Lily-Fashion celebrates God's goodness, beauty, and provision expressed in the things that comprise practical daily life.
